Learn how to pause in the moment and come back to yourself when stress runs high. This workshop blends practical tools, science‑backed techniques, and yoga‑based practices to help you regain control instead of getting swept away.

You’ll explore how your nervous system responds to stress, the foundations of emotional regulation, and the basics of polyvagal theory. You’ll leave with simple, effective mindfulness and yoga practices that build emotional resilience, support self‑awareness, and make it far less likely that you’ll lose your sh*t when things get hard.

Carmen Champion E-RYT 500, is the Owner and Director of Main Street Yoga.  She began taking yoga classes at MSY in 2004 and found the practice to alleviate anxiety of mind and tension of the body. 

If you take a class from Carmen, you will find that she tends to focus a lot of her language around the muscles of the body and how they affect your body and your movement. Carmen strives to educate and empower students by using each class as an opportunity to learn something new, whether it be about themselves of a facet of the practice.

Carmen has her 500 Hour Certification from the Pranakriya School, is an E-RYT 500, YACEP Certified and a Prenatal Yoga Teacher.
